Ozempic price vs. Wegovy, Zepbound and supervised programs (Oct 2026)

Quick answer: As of October 2026, Ozempic's list price is $1,027.51 a month, but self-pay through NovoCare is $349 a month for most doses ($499 at 2 mg). Zepbound starts at $299, the Wegovy and Foundayo pills at $149. A medically supervised program adds a membership fee, such as $74 a month at WeightWatchers, on top of the drug.

Ozempic's price depends on how you pay, so you'll see numbers anywhere from $25 to over $1,000. Here's what each number means. Every price below links to the company that sets it.

How much does Ozempic cost without insurance?

The list price is $1,027.51 per pen or bottle, which is a month's supply (NovoCare). Almost nobody paying cash should pay that.

Novo Nordisk's own self-pay pharmacy charges $349 a month for the 0.25, 0.5 and 1 mg pens and $499 for 2 mg. New patients get the first 2 fills of the low doses for $199 each through December 31, 2026 (NovoCare).

With commercial insurance that covers it, the savings card can bring it as low as $25 a month (up to $100 off).

What does a medically supervised weight-loss program cost compared to just buying Ozempic?

Usually more, because you pay for the care and the drug separately.

WeightWatchers' Med+ membership, for example, is $25 for the first month, then $74 a month on a 12-month plan or $84 on a 6-month plan. GLP-1 medication isn't included (WeightWatchers).

So on a 12-month plan with the Ozempic pen at $349, you'd pay about $423 a month. That's simple addition of the 2 published prices, not a quote.

Some telehealth programs now offer a Wegovy subscription. A 12-month subscription is $249 a month for the pen and $249 for the higher-dose pill, through partners like Ro, WeightWatchers and LifeMD (Novo Nordisk). Each program's own fees may apply on top.

What you get for the extra money is a clinician who checks your dose, side effects and labs. For a prescription drug, that oversight matters.

What is the cheapest way to get Ozempic or a similar drug?

With good insurance, the savings card. Without it, the makers' own self-pay programs are the lowest official prices we found: the pills from $149 and Zepbound from $299.

Be careful with very cheap "compounded" versions. The FDA has said the semaglutide and tirzepatide shortages are over, which limits who can legally compound copies (FDA).

Where does TrimYou Spray fit on cost?

TrimYou Spray is $79.00 for a 43+ day bottle plus $10.99 shipping. It needs no prescription and no membership.

But a low price isn't the same as the same results. TrimYou Spray isn't a GLP-1 drug and hasn't been compared with one in any study.

One thing we have to say plainly: the FDA hasn't approved TrimYou Spray to lose weight. There's no substantial evidence it increases weight loss beyond what the calorie restriction itself produces, or that it reduces the hunger that comes with a low-calorie diet.
