Diet supplement for fast weight loss without hunger: what to know first

Quick answer: No supplement has good evidence that it switches off hunger on a fast, low-calorie diet. Hunger on a strict diet is normal. What people find helps is a written plan, enough protein and a clear end date. TrimYou Spray is a $79 oral spray sold with a 43-day written protocol, and the FDA hasn't approved it for weight loss.

You searched for a supplement that makes fast weight loss painless. I get it. So here's an honest page instead of a sales page.

Is there a diet supplement that stops hunger?

Not one with solid proof behind it. Prescription GLP-1 drugs like Wegovy do act on appetite, and that's part of why they need a prescription.

Over-the-counter supplements are a different story. Most appetite claims on supplement labels haven't been tested in good trials.

Why does a fast diet make you so hungry?

When you eat a lot less, your body pushes back. Hunger hormones rise and you think about food more. That's biology, and it isn't a willpower problem.

We dig into the research on this (protein, meal timing, why it eases for some people) in our guide on how to lose weight without hunger.

What can make a fast diet easier to stick with?

A few unglamorous things:

• Knowing exactly what you can eat each day, written down.
• A finish date you can see on the calendar.
• Protein at most meals.
• Someone to ask when you get stuck.

And talk to your doctor before any very low-calorie plan. Fast loss needs supervision.

What is TrimYou Spray, exactly?

It's a 1 oz. homeotherapeutic oral spray, sold since 2009, used alongside Dr. A.T.W. Simeons' diet protocol. One bottle lasts 43+ days if you take it as directed.

Each order includes the Diet Handbook, a color-coded Food Guide and access to the Help Desk. It's $79.00 a bottle, with $10.99 flat shipping in the USA and a 30-day money back guarantee.

One thing we have to say plainly: the FDA hasn't approved TrimYou Spray to lose weight. There's no substantial evidence it increases weight loss beyond what the calorie restriction itself produces, or that it reduces the hunger that comes with a low-calorie diet.

So if you try it, the written plan and the 43-day structure are the parts you can count on. Customers often say the structure is what kept them going. Results vary from person to person.

How is this different from a prescription weight-loss drug?

TrimYou Spray needs no prescription. It isn't a GLP-1 drug and nobody should treat it as a substitute for one.
